My name is Ainsley Mathison, and I'm so happy you're here! I am a singer, actress, and model from Austin, Texas. I just graduated from the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Currently, I am gearing up to leave my beach life in Florida and dive headfirst into the world of all things entertainment in NYC, and I can’t wait!
Ainsley, how did you get into performing? I'd love to tell you! When I was the ripe age of 2, Taylor Swift dropped her debut country album. Simultaneously, my family's dream of having another athlete died. A singer was born instead. My love for singing evolved to theatre when my best friend forced me to do the 4th-grade musical with her. I was terrified, but her will was too strong, and well… now I have a degree in musical theatre! (Thanks Anna <3) In addition to musical theatre, I have also worked and trained in on-camera acting, voiceover, and modeling, all of which I am incredibly passionate about and am excited to pursue further.
In my free time, you may find me spoiling my dogs, at a Tex-Mex restaurant (seriously), reading a great book, or watching Secret Life of the Zoo. I love all things animals and all things holidays. My family is my heart, and my friends are my life. I am nothing without them and find so much fulfillment in being their biggest fan.
